Kellan Lutz was born in 1985 in North Dakota. He started modeling at the age of 13 and then moved to California after high school in order to study Chemical Engineering. He changed his mind though and decided to pursue an acting career instead.
His first acting role came in 2004 when he played Rob on one episode on the Bold and the Beautiful. The following year he got roles in a few more shows including Six Feet Under and CSI: New York.
2006 brought his first film role as Dwayne in Accepted. But his real big break came in 2008 when he was cast in the blockbuster movie Twilight as Emmett Cullen. He will be reprising the role for the 2009 New Moon and the 2010 Eclipse sequels.
2008 was not only a good year for Kellan in movies but he also got a recurring role in 90210 and in Generation Kill.
In 2010, Kellan will not only have a role in Eclipse but in Nightmare on Elm Street as well.
