Kaitlin Olson was born in 1975 in Oregon.
She attended the University of Oregon and pursued a degree in Theater. After that she moved to L.A. in order to pursue an acting career.
She got her start as a member of the famed improv group Groundlings. She then began making guest appearances in a number of film and television roles including Becky in Curb Your Enthusiasm, Traylor in The Drew Carey Show and a minor role in Coyote Ugly.
She traveled with the USO to Bosnia, Kosovo, and Norway.
She got her big break in 2005 when she was cast in the role of Deandra Reynolds in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
That same year she was in four episodes of Kelsey Grammar Presents: The Sketch Show. In 2007, she got the role of Hartley Underwood in the Riches.
Currently Kaitlin is putting her focus in her role in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Recently she married It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia costar Rob McElhenney.
