Repo Man is a 1984 film starring Harry Dean Stanton and Emilio Estevez. The movie tells the story of Otto (Emilio Estevez) a punk rocker who gets fired from his job at the supermarket. He then finds himself with a job as a "apprentice" Repo Man. He falls in love with the adventure and takes to his job very quickly. But everything changes when a new bounty comes on the market, a Chevy Malibou with important cargo has a $20,000 price on its head. Otto and nearly every other Repo Man in the city are out to the car and collect the reward but they have no idea what is waiting for them in the trunk.
Reaction to the film is high as it has been named one of the best cult classics of all time by Entertainment Weekly. Movie-goers also loved the film and it's combination of witty comedy and bizarre science fiction make this a very entertaining film. Critics everywhere have hailed it as cult filmmaking at its best. So even though the title and the summary might not sound all that exciting you would be very wrong.
