1981 arcade version of Frogger
This is the fortieth post in our Game of the Day series.

A gamer girl recollects:
This was one of the first video games. A frog would navigate through lanes of cars to get to the other side of the road. (Frogger was the topic of a Seinfield episode not long ago). Shortly after I got married, my husband and I would go shopping together about once a week. Just inside the mall entrance was a frogger machine. We would play together and enjoy ourselves. All it took was pocket change - which was about all we had as newlyweds.


Another submitter says:
I had Frogger back in the '80's. It was a favorite of mine because it was fun to play, & nonviolent, so I could play it with my child!
