This is the 16th post in our Musician of the Day series.
Robert was born in 1986 in London to a family full of musical talent. As a child he loved music and learned how to play piano at the age of four and guitar at the age of 5. Before long he formed a band called Bad Girls with his friends and they began to play locally. Eventually Robert began performing on his own under the name of Bobby Dupea.
So far Robert has not released an album for his music but his music has been on other albums. Two of his songs, Let me Sign and Never Think, were featured in the movie Twilight in which Robert played the starring role. Two other songs, Chokin’ on the Dust and Doin’ Fine, were featured on the How To Be soundtrack.
Despite his instant popularity due to Twilight, Robert retains his love of music, though currently his focus is placed on continuing work with the Twilight series.
