Scarlett O'Hara

19082009
Scarlett O'Hara by Rachel Nichols on a G.I. Joe poster
The last movie I saw before turning thirty was G.I. Joe and the Rise of Cobra.

The film itself doesn't warranty any kind of review, because you must honestly know what you're getting yourself into by going to watch it. Whether or not you've seen the previews, it is a cartoon funded by a toy company and thus a lot of big toys get play on the silver screen. It reminds me a lot of Power Rangers for some reason, and just like that cheesy-popcorn-fun franchise: there are beautiful women to ease your mental aches, assuming you didn't turn your brain off first.

Thus I bring your attention to Rachel Nichols who portrays red-headed Scarlett O'Hara (Rachel is naturally strawberry blonde -- like me before moving to Washington State). She's the cool-headed sniper who uses a video-enhanced laser-shooting crossbow. Frickin' lasers, man! I tell ya, I would have preferred a lot more of her shooting out nano-dumbed zombie troops versus all the CGI submarines and superfluous power suits. Was anyone else thinking of Sealab 2021?
