He was the kid on 3rd rock from the sun. I recently saw him in a movie where he was astonishing; completely different from characters he'd played before. He literally "morphed" into the character he played. It was a movie with Diane Lane called "Killshot", and he played a bad person. He's in an upcoming movie called "500 Days of Summer" with Zoey Deschanel.
